Jingle Dress Dancer

This dream came to me in 2017 and the longest time I thought nothing of it. I thought nothing of the dancer being really nervous, making her way around the powwow circle, admiring others beautiful regalia’s. After slowly beginning to connect with my Anishinaabe culture, I found out that dreams can have hidden meanings and they won’t always be revealed right away. In 2017 I had created my first fancy shawl regalia with massive help from knowledge holders. Dancing began to feel like healing and the Summer that year I had only wished my older sister was dancing beside me. Soon enough I had found out that she was in fact creating a jingle dress and in Summer 2018 I was living my dream dancing next to her on the homelands
